Helix, the electric motor brand of Integral Powertrain Ltd, has announced its partnership with Everrati, supplying the motors inside three of our latest commissions: the Porsche 911 (993) Founders Edition, the Superformance GT40 and the Mercedes-Benz W113 SL ‘Pagoda’. The EV Report covered the announcement on 14 October 2026.
Each Helix motor sits within one of Everrati’s own electric drive units, engineered around the packaging limits of each car. Three icons, three very different engineering problems.
Three cars, three solutions
- Porsche 911 (993): Everrati’s T-EDU drive unit, built around a Helix SPX242-175 motor, produces 760 hp. It is configured around the 993’s multi-link rear suspension, structural interfaces and thermal systems.
- Superformance GT40: two Helix CTSM242-94 motors in Everrati’s O-Drive EDU deliver 800 hp on a 700V architecture, packaged into one of the tightest supercar platforms while preserving the car’s low mass and balance.
- Mercedes-Benz W113 SL ‘Pagoda’: a single 31.3 kg CTSM242-94 is mounted in the transmission tunnel rather than the engine bay. That frees space for the 68 kWh battery (up to 240 miles of range), improves weight distribution and keeps the rear-wheel-drive layout. Existing structural mounting points were reused wherever possible, so the original body shell is left unmodified.
A platform beyond a single model
The partnership also supports Powered by Everrati, our B2B division supplying drive units, vehicle controls and battery technology to specialist and low-volume manufacturers. As Founder and CEO Justin Lunny puts it, Helix’s power-dense motors, combined with Everrati’s own drive units, software and integration, help create “a platform we can take well beyond a single model.”
Every Everrati is built by hand in Oxfordshire and California.
