Lunaz vs Everrati: Which Classic Car EV Conversion is Right for You?

Lunaz converts Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, and Jaguars, those big British luxury barges with 120kWh battery packs and 300-mile range. They have a team doing ground-up restorations with every modern convenience integrated. A Phantom V conversion starts at £500,000, or an Aston Martin DB6 will run you about a million dollars.

We do something different at Everrati with models including Porsche 911s, Mercedes Pagodas, Land Rover Series IIAs. We specialize in sports cars and driver-focused classics where handling dynamics and throttle response matter more than rear-seat comfort or maximum range numbers.

The marques alone tell you most of what you need to know about the difference between Everrati and Lunaz.

What Lunaz Does Well

Lunaz Range Rover conversions make complete sense. Take a vehicle originally designed for gentleman farmers and African safaris, strip it to bare metal, rebuild everything to modern standards, add serious electric power and that massive battery pack. The result drives like a contemporary luxury SUV while looking exactly like the 1970s icon it started as.

Same philosophy applies to their Rolls-Royces. They’re about arriving in silence and comfort, preferably while someone else handles the driving, not necessarily about engaging driving characteristics. Electric propulsion actually suits that mission better than the original V8s did, being quieter, smoother, and more reliable.

Lunaz leans into modern conveniences. Full infotainment systems, navigation, WiFi connectivity, climate control that actually works. If you’re spending £350,000 on a restored Silver Cloud, you want it to function like a proper luxury car rather than simply a museum piece.

Where Everrati Focuses Instead

The 993 Founders Edition hits 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and our 964 RSR variants exude motorsport heritage. These cars are built for people who actually drive them hard and care how they respond, and driving range and amenities are secondary.

Plus, we keep conversions fully reversible. Every Everrati car can be returned to original specification if a future owner wants that. For Porsche purists concerned about permanently modifying rare variants, this matters. The 964 Turbo S only saw 345 units built, so converting one shouldn’t mean destroying it.

Our restoration work matches or exceeds Lunaz’s quality standards. Expect concours-level paint, perfect panel gaps, and custom engineering throughout, but we’re more selective about modern conveniences. The goal is preserving the driving character that made these vehicles special, not turning them into contemporary luxury cars that happen to wear vintage bodywork.

Different Priorities Entirely

Lunaz integrates everything such as touch screens, advanced driver assists, and luxury appointments throughout. They’re creating modern grand tourers that look like classics.

We’re trying to make the driving experience better while keeping it recognizable. The 911 should still feel like a 911, the throttle response should be immediate and natural, and weight distribution should enhance the handling you bought the car for in the first place.

A Lunaz Phantom has more range, more elegance, and more comforts and conveniences, and it’s probably more pleasant for daily use. That’s the whole point of what they’re building.

An Everrati 911 is more engaging to actually drive. That’s the whole point of what we’re building.

The Marque Question Decides Most of This

Want an electric Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, or Aston Martin? Lunaz is the specialist doing that work at volume. They’ve converted dozens of these British luxury icons and have the processes dialed in.

Want an electric Porsche 911, Mercedes Pagoda, or GT40? We’re your option. Those marques aren’t in Lunaz’s catalog, and our entire engineering approach is built around sports car dynamics.

The overlap is actually pretty small. We both do Range Rovers, but beyond that, you’re choosing based on which marque you want converted.

What You’re Actually Buying

Lunaz sells the vision of vintage luxury without the vintage unreliability. Their customers want to pull up to the opera in a perfectly restored 1961 Phantom and have it start every time, drive smoothly, and not strand them on the motorway.

We’re selling driving engagement with sustainability. Our customers want the 911 they’ve dreamed about since childhood, but with instant torque, better weight distribution, and the ability to drive it daily guilt-free about emissions or reliability concerns.

The classic you’ve been dreaming about can work as an electric vehicle built by Everrati. Want to talk about what makes sense for your specific car and how you plan to use it? Let’s have that conversation.
